At South Macomb, we are a loving group of Christians who simply desire to be pleasing to God. We are so grateful to our Lord Jesus Christ that He came to this earth in order to shed His own precious blood to purchase us and redeem us back to our loving Father (1 Peter 1:17-21). We praise God for the work of the Holy Spirit that works in our lives every day as we seek to reflect the image of Christ (Romans 8:26-29).
Our goal is to be as close to the church of the New Testament as we possibly can. We hold up the word of God as our only standard, and we are accountable to Jesus Christ as our head and religious authority (Matthew 28:18). The disciples of the 1st century “continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine” (Acts 2:42), and that is our earnest plea today, to simply follow what Jesus and His apostles taught us to do.
God’s church is described as a family (Ephesians 3:14-15), and that is how it should be. We believe that when you visit South Macomb, you will see a close, family atmosphere where people truly care about each other’s well-being.
